The final countdown..

Dear all,

Take into account that the weather in Belgium is not so good at the moment, winter seems to have arrived suddenly..  So please be careful and leave in time, so that you can take the possible traffic jams into account.

Could we please ask those of you, attending the IIC on Friday, to be in time in the venue Koninklijke Stallingen (this is, in time for registration which is from 6h30 to 8.00). At 8.00, we really have to close down the registration, so that all participants are present and ready in the hall at 8.30 at the latest, to be able to line up a bit later. The IIC starts at 9.00, so the GrandMasters will enter around 8h50.

Those of you already present in Oostende on Thursday, please come to the registration in Ravelingen between 10.00-12.00 or 13.00-21.00.

This IIC will be "historical", due the the big amount of participants (253, 22 countries), due to the big amount of Masters (20) and the fact that 2 other GrandMasters will be present (first time ever). It's also the first time the Kids Development Program is included in an IIC. Because of the big amount of participants, the chairman of the Technical Committee promised to have 2 "separate" IIC's at the same time, I°-III° & IV°-IX°.

Extra information on the 88th IIC

Dear Master, 

Dear Instructor and Taekwon-Do practitioner, 

Please find enclosed some extra information concerning the 88th IIC, being held in Oostende, Belgium November 22nd-24th. The deadline was October 22nd, the last inscriptions have been processed and today the definitive list was sent to the ITF and the ITF Technical Committee. We received applications from 253 persons out of 22 countries, including 2 GrandMasters and 19 Masters. The Technical Comittee promised to have separate courses for I°-III°degree and for IV°degree and up. 

Looking forward welcoming all of you very soon in Belgium.

Deadline reached - inscriptions closed

We are sorry, but as the deadline has been reached, we have to close down the inscriptions.  On the other hand, we are happy to announce this will be one of the biggest IIC's in Europe, as we have 253 inscriptions processed up till now.

Applications were received from Poland, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Romania, Bulgaria, Norway, GD Luxemburg, England, Scotland, Switserland, Croatia, Czech Republik, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Ireland, The Netherlands and Germany.

Furthermore we will host a lot of masters and even 2 more grandmasters. We hope that you are all looking forward to this IIC :-)..

But first on the calendar, we wish every participant a successful WC in Benidorm!

Banquet change due to the big interest

Due to the great interest, the banquet will be organized in another restaurant within the Ravelingen complex. Because of this, we can accept more participants, as we already reached our (previous) maximum of 80.

The banquet will be held on the ground floor, in restaurant 'De Grote Rede' instead of 'De Wandelaar' on the top floor.

Meanwhile we're trying to get some more rooms, but still.......hotel accommodation is almost fully booked.

In case you're travelling alone, or by 2, and you're willing to share an apartment with someone else, please inform us. We can find you a roommate.

Accommodation at Ravelingen..

Please remember that the accommodation at Ravelingen consists of studios and appartments (with an own kitchen).

There is no hotelservice at the rooms (towels, making up the beds, cleaning each day....).

E.g. towels : you can either bring them with you, or hire them at the reception.

The accommodation should be paid directly at Ravelingen, at the reception, upon arrival at the check-in, but after the registration for the IIC. At registration (accreditation for IIC and banquet) you will receive the number of your studio/appartment.
